No more blind trades
Mystery nodes stopped asking you to gamble blind.
The web client now reveals the whole bargain—reward and cost—before you choose, turning a random interruption into a real route decision.
NO MORE BLIND TRADES
Sk1m offers credits for taking one usable die offline. Cartograph3r can expose the sector map for scanner heat. Back d00r trades heat for Merchant access. H0t sw4p offers a named die and lets you choose its slot before a random usable die goes dark.
Accept both sides or decline. Either choice spends the node turn.
THE NETWORK PUSHES BACK
Every successful move now raises H3AT, speeding the scanner’s response; deploying a Diversion cools it by two. In later sectors, every entry has a route to a Merchant before the MiniBoss. Sector clears now pay a fixed 10, 15, or 20 credits by ascension band instead of tying income to score.
The Line Trace got clearer and fairer too: it advances at most one row per eligible turn, the countermeasure panel tells you when it can reach you, and it warns when one failed PHREAK check would put your layer in range.
MORE FROM THE WIRE
- Reachable nodes keep their type colors and gain a clean ring, making route choices easier to read at a glance.
